Penrith NSW
When Gai Hawthorn, CEO of Penrith CBD Corporation, was contacted by the McGrath Foundation in 2018, her board members had a polite giggle, because Gai didn’t follow cricket. Since then, McGrath Foundation Co-Founder and President Glenn McGrath, has taught Gai a thing or two about the game.
Berry NSW
In the picturesque NSW rural town of Berry, their popular Pink Up Berry campaign has been going strong for more than four years. But for local Berry resident, Deb Woolford, the self-confessed ‘captain’ of the fundraising committee — every day is a pink day for her. In 2019, Deb gathered seven keen local residents to form a Pink Up Your Town taskforce.
Penguin TAS
Shirly Good is the kind of lady you go to for all sorts of advice, especially in a small town. She’s a hero cake maker, an exemplary seamstress and award-winning charity worker in the town of Penguin, home to around 4500 people, on the north-west coast of Tasmania. In 2018, in typical Shirly fashion — she registered Pink Up Your Town and did it on her own.

Why fundraise?
For 20 years, we've given our all to breast cancer. Now we're taking our care to all cancers. And we need your help to do it.
Since 2005, we've supported over 150,000 families, for free. Around 1 in 2 people in Australia will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, meaning the need for McGrath Cancer Care Nurses is greater than ever.
From your streets to your schools, show you care by pinking up your town and helping to ensure that no one misses out on care.
