PORT HEDLAND TUGGERS CUP 2022

The Tuggers Cup is about the tuggers that operate the tug boats in the busiest port in Australia, PORT HEDLAND.

The primary reason for the event is to encourage solid relations between all tug personnel and management in the port of Port Hedland. 
We're all mates.....and although we are divided between the Blue tugs and the Red tugs, and we each take care of our own ends of the port.           However, as professional and proud mariners, we look out for each other, and occasionally, we fight side by side to keep the channel clear whenever a ship encounters problems.       

However on one night of the year we do battle........

The Tuggers Cup is a battle between the ten strongest BLUE tuggers.   VS The ten strongest RED tuggers,    in an epic, best of 3 ends  ''TUG ' O ' WAR''.

In 2020 the red team won 2-0

In 2021 the blue team won 2-0

2022 is officially the 'GRUDGE MATCH'

The date is set, AUGUST 29 2022.

The kids event from 17:30
Raffle drawn 17:45
Main event 18:00 sharp.     best of 3.

Family friendly event, with free food and drinks available. Donations encouraged.
