I’m fundraising to ensure that no one goes through breast cancer without the care of a McGrath Breast Care Nurse.

A breast cancer diagnosis can change your life in an instant and the impact can be felt right through your family, friends, and community.

McGrath Breast Care Nurses help individuals and their families affected by breast cancer by providing invaluable physical, psychological, and emotional support from the time of diagnosis and throughout treatment.

Event Details

Let's do our part for breast cancer! From August 12-19, the students of St Hilda’s College will be undertaking what we’ve deemed the “Walk for a Week” - from 6pm to 6pm, Monday to Monday, at every hour of each day, at least one student will be taking place in a week-long relay.  Created in 2020 as a way to embrace the spirit of 'Communitas' and support the community, this fundraiser is continuing again in 2024 with the aim to raise both awareness and donations for the McGrath Breast Care Nurses, who play an invaluable role in making life easier for families experiencing breast cancer across Australia. Any support you can give to our fundraiser is greatly appreciated, because together, we can make a difference! <3
