This cricket season, we want to make a difference!

We will be getting out this Pinks Stumps Day because no one should go through breast cancer without the care of a McGrath Breast Care Nurse.

McGrath Breast Care Nurses help individuals and their families affected by breast cancer by providing invaluable physical, psychological, and emotional support from the time of diagnosis and throughout treatment.

Event Details

Sturt District Cricket Club will be holding The Pink Stumps Weekend on 16th-17th December 2024. We encourage all players to show support by wearing pink zinc and/or pink ribbons for a gold coin donation. We invite all current and past players, and their families to join us for a sausage sizzle on Sunday the 17th December at Price Memorial Oval to support the women’s mighty thirds team, and a friendly game of cricket to finish the weekend. 1 in 7 women and 1 in 550 men are diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. A number of families at our club have been impacted by Breast Cancer. Throughout the next month we will share stories to provide inspiration, show our support of people undergoing treatment, and to raise awareness of the amazing work of Breast Care Nurses. The McGrath Foundation raise money to fund McGrath Breast Care Nurses who provide invaluable support and care to individuals and families experiencing breast cancer. From diagnosis right throughout treatment, McGrath Breast Care Nurses are available to help for free and with no referral.
