 We did it!! This was definitely one of the most challenging physical challenges I have ever done. There was shock (at how hard and rocky and mountainous the course was) there were falls followed by blood knees, there was endless complaining (all me) followed by grit, there were blisters so painful followed by the disappearance of the pain, there was running followed by power hiking, there was getting lost followed by rock climbing. But we finished!! I am so proud of myself and my bestie Fi. We are strong and resilient. And maybe a bit psycho. But also awesome.

McGrath Breast Care Nurses help individuals and their families affected by breast cancer by providing invaluable physical, psychological, and emotional support from the time of diagnosis and throughout treatment.

Event Details

The Larapinta Trail Race 16-19 August, 2024 Follow me as I run 128km in a 4 day trail race along sections of the Larapinta Trail, Northern Territory. Stage 1: 20km around Alice Springs from the Old Telegraph Station to The Mercure Stage 2: 41km from Simpson’s Gap to Standley Chasm Stage 3: 33km from Birthday Waterhole turn off to Standley Chasm. Stage 4: 34km from Ochre Pits to Ellery Creek Water Hole.
