For those of you that aren’t lucky enough to have met Jamilee, here’s a little bit about her. Jay was my friend, her daughters are my daughters friends, her family is part of my family. Jay was strong, brave, beautiful and fun, we laughed a lot. Jay was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2014 and passed away in September this year. Liza her Breast care nurse was there every step of the way advocating for and supporting Jay and her family. Not everyone diagnosed with breast cancer is lucky enough to have a Liza to walk beside them. Hopefully my fundraiser can help more people access that support.Pink is the colour of care
I’m fundraising to ensure that no one goes through breast cancer without the care of a McGrath Breast Care Nurse.
A breast cancer diagnosis can change your life in an instant and the impact can be felt right through your family, friends, and community.
McGrath Breast Care Nurses help individuals and their families affected by breast cancer by providing invaluable physical, psychological, and emotional support from the time of diagnosis and throughout treatment.
Supporting me to raise funds for this great cause is easy and you can help the McGrath Foundation reach their goal of 250 nurses by 2025, to work towards ensuring no one misses out on care.
