Journey
These past few days on starting to fundraise and hit a target goal on what l want to achieve and why l want to do it!!! By doing this its helping me to move forward in my life when my mum got diagnosed with breast cancer l was so angry at the world hurt more then anything the only thing l could think was WHY? Why my mum? I dont want to lose my mum? I was with my mum every step of the way in her journey in the bad times and good times she had. The one thing l learnt from this was l wanted to make a difference l wanted to help people who have been or going through what my mum went through l want to support any fundraiser for breast cancer and be advocate and spread my journey on what lwent though seeing my mum go through breast cancer. Im so determine to try my absolute hardest in raising money and helping the Mcgrath foundation breast care nursesWhy l want to fundraise
In 2020 , My Mum was diagnosed with breast cancer , turned my world up side down never thought someone l loved soo very much more then anything be diagnosed with such a cruel disease. I was so angry and upset lots of emotions. I was with my mum every step of the way in her cancer journey from the moment she got diagnosed. I took her too all her appointments radiation , cemo and the day she went to surgery. It was extremely hard watching mum fight every day and try to be so strong and her dedication to kick cancer butt the day we got told she is in remission was the happiest day of my life. Watching my mum go through this l feel its my passion to help other and l want to raise funds to give back to those who helped my mum! So l will be challenging myself to walk everyday to raise funds for the breast care nurses.Pink is the colour of care
I’m fundraising to ensure that no one goes through breast cancer without the care of a McGrath Breast Care Nurse.
A breast cancer diagnosis can change your life in an instant and the impact can be felt right through your family, friends, and community.
McGrath Breast Care Nurses help individuals and their families affected by breast cancer by providing invaluable physical, psychological, and emotional support from the time of diagnosis and throughout treatment.
Supporting me to raise funds for this great cause is easy and you can help the McGrath Foundation reach their goal of 250 nurses by 2025, to work towards ensuring no one misses out on care.
Thank you so much for your support.
