Pink is the colour of care

Andrea O'Grady lost her battle to breast cancer earlier this year. She had been a Veterinary Nurse at the Sheffield Veterinary Clinic for 15 years and was a major pillar of the local community. 

Before she died, she made sure everybody knew the care and support she received from the McGrath Breast Care Nurses and how greatly she appreciated them through her first fight with breast cancer.  

Her brave battle has inspired us to help others, and we have decided to fundraise money to ensure that no one goes through breast cancer without the care of a McGrath Breast Care Nurse.

A breast cancer diagnosis can change your life in an instant and the impact can be felt right through your family, friends, and community.

McGrath Breast Care Nurses help individuals, and their families affected by breast cancer by providing invaluable physical, psychological, and emotional support from the time of diagnosis and throughout treatment.

Event Details

Come dressed in pink and watch local bands Kitty & The Rocketts and The Amber Lamps play at the Sheffield Town Hall. There will be a door prize, a prize for best dressed and raffles throughout the night. Tickets go on sale August 30th AEST. Adults (18+) - $40 Children (12-17 years) - $25 Children (Under 12 years) - Free If we reach our fundraising goal of $10 000 several of our local vet clinic team will be shaving their heads!
