Celebrating Courage and Community: Pink Stumps Day 2024
Tracy Village Cricket Club invites you to join us for a special day of cricket and compassion at our Pink Stumps Day. This event is not just about cricket; it's about coming together as a community to support those affected by breast cancer.
Why Pink Stumps Day Matters:
Breast cancer touches the lives of so many in our community, including members of our beloved club. Through Pink Stumps Day, we aim to raise awareness, show support, and raise funds for breast cancer research and support services. All funds raised from the day will be donated to the McGrath Foundation, to ensure more families will have the care and support of a McGrath Breast Cancer Nurse.
Event Highlights:
- Cricket Matches: Cheer on our teams as they play exciting matches throughout the day. Kicking off the proceedings will be the TVCC Ladies taking on the Palmerston ladies from 9.00am, followed by TVCC Sunday 1 taking on Waratah White.
- Pink Spirit: Show your support by wearing pink! The more pink, the better. Prizes for best dressed.
- Family Fun: Enjoy activities for all ages, including mini games, a BBQ, and a raffle with fantastic prizes.
- Community Unity: Come together to support a wonderful cause.

On behalf of our beloved late Rachel, thankyou for putting this event on today and the support you have provided our family around Cricket. Breast Cancer is a challenging disease that nobody deserves to go through. Support is key for Woman going through this and the McGrath Foundation certainly help provide that for Rachel when she needed it. Of course it's not just the suppprt, but also the awareness around this disease and the importance of early detection and prompt diagnosis. If you're not sure about a lump demand a biopsy, it's as simple as that giving you the best chance in avoiding metastatic disease (cancer that spreads to bones and organs).
