I’m fundraising to ensure that no one goes through breast cancer without the care of a McGrath Breast Care Nurse.

A breast cancer diagnosis can change your life in an instant and the impact can be felt right through your family, friends, and community.

McGrath Breast Care Nurses help individuals and their families affected by breast cancer by providing invaluable physical, psychological, and emotional support from the time of diagnosis and throughout treatment.

Supporting me to raise funds for this great cause is easy and you can help the McGrath Foundation reach their goal of 250 nurses by 2025, to work towards ensuring no one misses out on care.

Event Details

In honour of our beautiful friend Tahila Angel who grew her wings way too soon. The Rowe family will be starting a fundraising for the McGrath Foundation. The nurses were amazing and gave so much support to Tahila and her family throughout her treatment. Dan and Eli will be shaving their mullets off to donate so they can provide wigs, and in a little way help support those who need a little lift in a cloudy time. I will also be donating a large portion of my hair in honour of Tahila and all those who have fought and won, those who are fighting strong and those who fought strong til the very end. Tahila has been such a big part of so many people’s lives and touched the hearts of all those she came across, I am truly grateful for the memories and times we shared, despite my big move to the other side of the country in 2009 our bond and friendship stayed so strong. Tahila’s personality was bright, witty, kind, caring and most of all a barrel of fun and laughter. Tahila was an absolutely wonderful mother, loving wife, beautiful daughter, kind and caring sister and a truly inspirational friend. The world may change from year to year, our lives from day to day, but the memory and impact of a beautiful friend will never fade away. Tahila you are so dearly missed everyday! You live on in everyone’s hearts and special memories.
