Shaving for Mum
My Mum Carole was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year after discovering a lump just before Christmas. Based in York, the treatment and travel to Northam or Perth and back while unwell has been difficult on her. During this time I have seen first hand the incredible support she has received from Manju, her McGrath Breast Care Nurse.
Manju, and all McGrath Breast Care Nurses, help individuals and their families affected by breast cancer by providing invaluable physical, psychological, and emotional support from the time of diagnosis and throughout treatment.
On the 31st of October, I will be shaving my head in support of McGrath Breast Care Nurses like Manju, to raise funds and ensure that no one goes through breast cancer without the care of a McGrath Breast Care Nurse.
By supporting me to raise funds for this great cause we can help the McGrath Foundation reach their goal of 250 nurses by 2025, to work towards ensuring no one misses out on care.
